It still kind of hurts, thanks. I dripped some “sealing wax” on my ring finger while I was preparing our ornate announcements. It sure seemed like a good idea at the time – print out the announcment on some bonded resume paper, fold it and then seal it “Pope-style” with some red sealing wax and a monogram stamp. I didn’t realize I was putting my life in danger in the process. Not to whine, but it hurts. And it kind of looks like a slug is permanently attached to my finger.
Regardless of my “digital tragedy”, the announcements went out this morning – 3 “scroll-like” announcments to our parents, and 6 folded letters to brothers, sisters and grand parents. We’re in an interesting situation – before we were waiting to tell everyone – now we’re waiting for them to contact us. Let the games begin…
